PRIVATE  ~  I have produced pieces for various people for personal use in homes and cottages. These pieces have gone as far as Egypt, Scotland and England.

PUBLIC  ~  Cameron Advertising Displays of Scarborough, Ontario wanted to showcase their digital printing division by placing large printed images on the outside of their buildings. They chose five of my photographs for this purpose.

DONATION  ~  When the Markham-Souffville Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was looking to update their waiting room, I had some photographs enlarged and framed and donated them to help out. The pictures were well received and staff are always receiving postive comments on them. I have also donated photographs as silent auction items to fundraisers for breast cancer.

March 21 – April 25, 2011  ~  “Algonquin Park: Where My Canoe Has Taken Me”

This exhibit was a series of 35 photographs taken while canoe tripping throughout Algonquin Park. What made this exhibit different was the fact that the photographs were enlarged and printed to canvas. As well, instead of matting and framing in the usual way, I had these photographs gallery wrapped.

There were a lot of comments about the photographs looking like paintings while others said some had a ‘Group Of Seven’ feel to them. Overall, the exhibit was a complete success.

I am currently working on a coffee table style book with the main focus being the spiritual connectedness one finds when being out in nature. The book is a story of one man’s spiritual journey as he explores the northern forests, lakes, and rivers. The book is filled with many photographs that illustrate what the man see’s on his journey.

Since I spend so much time in my canoe from early spring till the snow flies in winter, many people ask me what the fascination is with canoe tripping. It is not something easily put into words, so I am working on a documentary styled video about canoe tripping. It covers many aspects of the canoe trip from the planning stages to the trip itself. From the first timer’s experiences to the old timer’s memories.
